Dr. Tim Reger

Tim was raised in the home of a youth pastor and at age 13 felt the call of God to serve the Lord full time (as a vocation). At the time he believed that God was leading him to the mission field, and he went off to college to prepare for just such a ministry.
In the middle of his junior year of college, God began to prompt his heart to work with young people. Upon graduation from college Tim began working in Christian Camping. Tim graduated from John Brown University in 1981 receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Broadcast Communications.
For the next 15 years he served as the Camp Manager of Jan-Kay Ranch, Inc. Christian Camps. God began to work in Tim’s heart and he returned to school, this time studying Biblical Counseling.
In 1996, he received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. In March of the same year, his home church (FBC, Paris) ordained him to the Gospel Ministry.
In September of 1996, Tim opened a counseling practice where he specializes in working with families, children, and adolescents. Tim began his ministry at Mt. Olive in 1997.
Believing that God has called him to continue to grow, Tim is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministries degree in Marriage and Family from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He was married to his wife Deann in 1981, and together they have four wonderful boys.
